Our first trip to NZ and arranged the North Island 10 day Highlights with Northern Explorer train trip. Our consultant Shelley Ryder was brilliant throughout the whole experience. She was always available to help us with our itinerary, booking excursions and checking flights. The train trip from Auckland to Wellington was awesome with its scenery and comfortable with good food and drinks. The accommodation was excellent, especially the Beachside resort at Whitianga. Accommodation in Auckland on the last night before departure was a small cramped room and bathroom, okay for one night and on way to the airport but wouldn’t recommend if staying for several days.
