Continue the tour by visiting Ta Prohm, a picturesque spot that almost disappeared into the jungle but is now overgrown. This is an unusually haunting scene that emphasizes the legend of the “lost city”. We take a tuk tuk ride today to visit Angkor Thom. This is a walled, moated capital of the Angkorian empire. We visit the surroundings of the complex including the Baphou, Elephant Terraces, Leper King Terrace and Royal Place area. Enjoy the tranquility of this heritage town, which is one of the most visited destinations in Vietnam.

The Angkor Ban village is known for its beautiful, traditional houses and unspoiled community. We enjoy lunch back on board as we sail downstream on the Mekong towards the Island of Koh Oknha Tey. This spot is located in the middle the Mekong and is well-known for producing high quality silk products. We explore the island by tuk-tuk and learn how silk is made from its source, which is provided by tiny silkworms, to a final product made of authentic Cambodian silk. After some additional cruising time, passing the confluence of the Mekong and Tonle Rivers, and observing the spectacular marshlands of this area, the boat anchors near Kampong Chhnang, where we overnight.
