History
Skylink Air Charter has been operating since 2001 and is a member of the Airwork Group.
Airwork began its operations out of Wellington in 1936 and has continually evolved and innovated to meet the needs of the constantly evolving aviation market. The divisions of the Airwork Group are focused in three distinct areas of the aviation industry:
- Helicopter engineering and support, which is the focus area of Airwork NZ
- Helicopter leasing
- Charter and fixed wing operations and engineering
Skylink was the first air charter company in New Zealand to offer a Boeing 737 on pure charter, enabling thousands of New Zealanders to reach previously hard-to-reach destinations.
Over the years Skylink has taken on logistically tough assignments and has built a reputation of thinking outside the square to meet our client’s freight and passenger charter needs.
Our aim is to ensure that every charter, regardless of size, receives individual, meticulous attention.
